Covid-19 Vaccines Rapidly Increase The Need For Dry IceThursday, December 17th, 2020
This year has been full of ups and downs, but Covid-19 vaccines are finally in our near future. Because the vaccinations, developed by Pfizer and Moderna Inc, require extremely cold temperatures to stay effective, a stable and long-lasting source of cold will be necessary. Pfizer’s product, for example, needs a temperature of 70 degrees Celsius or below. Dry ice is the only choice for transporting such sensitive materials.
Because the need for the approved vaccines will be so great, the demand for dry ice will rapidly grow. It has already become hectic for companies across the country. Buddy Collen, our Executive Vice President, spoke to interviewers from The Wall Street Journal and Entrepreneur about the growing demand for dry ice products.
How are we handling this?
Speaking to Kenny Herzog with Entrepreneur.com, Collen stated that he has already received many preliminary calls from state and federal government representatives. Because we are a trusted resource for CO2 products, we understand that our loyal clientele cannot be ignored during these trying times. Preparing for the surge of dry ice demand for Covid-19 vaccines is also important to our organization.
